SSE Arena Belfast with Ulster Orchestra

"What a show! The AMAZING ARRIVAL From Sweden with original musician Mike Watson along with the Ulster Orchestra in Belfast Arena, had the crowd dancing along to great ABBA hits! We have had a fantastic time with this wonderful band. And the audience LOVES IT." Ulster Orchestra, February 8 2020

BOB BERNHARDT, Conductor (2021) BB have worked with ARRIVAL from Sweden for many years, and with many Symphony Orchestras that have worked together with BB and ARRIVAL from Sweden, both in the US and Canada

"They are known as “Arrival from Sweden” – a band beloved around the world as the greatest ABBA tribute group on tour. Their sound is exactly what you want to hear as they perform ABBA’s greatest hits." Bob Bernhardt, Conductor

When the ABBA tribute band Arrival from Sweden stops in your area, you go!

"At the Beacon Theatre, Arrival from Sweden put on a spectacular performance. From their sound to the aesthetics, the musicians replicated ABBA so well, it felt like we had traveled back in time to see the original supergroup. The live music sounded as good, if not better than the records. Vicky and Tove who play the “As” of ABBA sounded exactly like Anni-Frid and Agnetha, while Lalle, who plays the role of Benny, killed it on the keys and Daniel, who plays Björn, shredded on guitar – especially during their solos. Families, seniors, teens and even young children danced from their seats and clapped along to the beat while the entire auditorium belted out the lyrics to all ABBA-song" Umgas Magazine, The Swedish-American Magazine, 2019

THE ONLY ABBA SHOW WORTH SEEING

"This was the first ABBA-tribute show, I have seen that really made justice to ABBA. This show was a real ABBA-show, filled with fantastic musicians, singers, passion and true happiness and most important ABBA KNOWLEDGE and all in ,respect to ABBA. If you will go to an ABBA-show, this is the ONLY one you need to see! I have seen a lot of ABBA-tribute shows, and they were all really bad and like a joke!" Red Rocks Arena, Denver, USA REVIEW 2019

""With lights playing over the stage and the sound of helicopters over the system, the band launched right into That's Me. The sold out crowd was ecstatic! Money, Money, Money that was one of the highlights of the evening. The Name Of The Game transitioned into a looooong version of Eagle with heavenly solos, that was another unforgettable highlight! Kids were brought up from the crowd to join the band. A Swedish flag was grabbed from a fan to wave onstage. Everyone was smiling and singing and dancing. The Playhouse was alive with high spirits. ABBA tribute band Arrival from Sweden takes Savannah Center crowd back to the seventies. Two words describe the Swedish group Arrival from Sweden and its tribute to ABBA — Mamma Mia!!!

"The group speaks ABBA’s language, including a thick Swedish accent that somehow vanishes when glamorous singers Tove Lind and Vicky Zetterberg offer ABBA’s multitude of hit songs. Arrival featured a five-piece band, including guitar, keyboards, bass, drums and saxophone. There were three female backup singers, but the night belonged to the dynamic duo of Lind and Zetterberg. “We love ABBA and we’re here to honor their music,” Zetterberg said early in the show. She then asked: “How much do you know about ABBA?” Like a teacher in music class, Zetterberg explained that the name ABBA comes from the initials of the group members’ first names. There was more history, and Zetterberg should be an expert, as she has been with the group since the early years. The duo had the ABBA harmony down pat on such standards as: “Knowing You, Knowing Me,” “S.O.S.,” “The Name of the Game” and “Money, Money, Money.” A highlight came when Zetterberg sang the first verse of “Fernando” in Swedish and then came back to sing the full song in English." ”One of the most entertaining and best sounding shows, that I have ever gone to!!!”

"I have seen a slew of concerts throughout the years, and in all honesty, this ranks as one of the most entertaining and best sounding shows that I have ever gone to. They have an impeccable sound and lighting team that go out with them, which they band made sure to acknowledge   Arrival from Sweden, the world’s number-one ABBA tribute band. I was expecting a night of great music and memories, but what I got was so much more! Arrival nailed the essence of ABBA, but although the show production value was true to the original ABBA shows, the band themselves did not pretend to be ABBA. Yes, they looked like them and sounded EXACTLY like them, but they took time in between numbers to tell us a little about the history of ABBA and what they are up to today.   In a show of this caliper, you would expect the musicianship of the band members to be quite outstanding, but never in my wildest imagination could I have expected what I saw then. The keyboardist, Lars, is perhaps one of the best keyboardists I have ever had the pleasure listening to, and I have been around many keyboardists, considering my time with Korg. The drummer, Pontus , kept the tempo going all night long and was such a joy to watch live. The guitarist Daniel, had a perfect tone and feel to his playing that you forgot that you were watching someone paying homage to another. Add to this unbelievably talented and equally beautiful woman the lead vocalists Vicky and Tone, the three backup singers and the amazing saxophonist Mathias and the bassist Mark, who as it turns out knows a few friends of mine, and you have a powerhouse band that can rival any major headliner.”" Chris Jett Saltwater Music Business, Forth Wayne, IN, USA July, 2018

Arrival from Sweden and Oklahoma City Philharmonic team up to remind fans just how much they love ABBA

"Arrival from Sweden seized the stage in replicas of some of ABBA's memorably flashy 1970s outfits, and with the help of a capable backing band and singers, the quartet sounded strikingly similar to the actual lineup. The real fun came when Arrival from Sweden rolled out the impressive ABBA hit parade, and enduring smashes like “SOS,” “Lay All Your Love on Me,” “Super Trouper,” “Waterloo,” “Take a Chance on Me” and first-half closer “Mamma Mia” got people wailing along and more than a few out of their seats and dancing in the aisles, in the boxes or in the back rows. Fernando” done half in Swedish and half in English, were among the tribute band's strongest performances. Arrival from Sweden's “The Music of ABBA” with the OKC Philharmonic was an excellent warm-up for the two-hour TV special “ABBA: Thank You for the Music, An All-Star Tribute,” which NBC has confirmed will air in December." Brandy McDonnell, The Oklahoman May 11, 2018

ARRIVAL from Sweden in a sold out concert – again with Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Sold out concerts also in 2011 and 2012. And now they were back to sell out again!

"”It was a thoroughly enjoyable performance for any ABBA aficionado, the band had great chemistry on stage which really made it feel like you were watching the real deal.  On Wednesday evening the equally fabulous Arrival From Sweden brought their  interpretation of the music of ABBA when they performed with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra at the Orpheum Theatre. I am sure it will not be long until Arrival From Sweden will be back Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, to wow the audience once again, and maybe next time they will be singing one of the new songs from ABBA.”" Writer for Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Matthew Baird of the VSO, May 4, 2018

Everyone was smiling and singing and dancing. The Playhouse was alive with high spirits. A night of undeniable joy

"With lights playing over the stage and the sound of helicopters over the system, the band launched right into That's Me. The sold out crowd was ecstatic! Knowing Me, Knowing You was absolutely spot on. Another ABBA chestnut in the form of When I Kissed The Teacher led to a buoyant medley of I've Been Waiting For You / Honey, Honey / He Is Your Brother. Norback introduced an uplifting version of Fernando as a song about freedom and even sang the first half of the song in Swedish. Quite an emotional moment. Money, Money, Money that was one of the highlights of the evening. The Name Of The Game transitioned into a looooong version of Eagle with heavenly solos from Svensson, Hogan, and Larsson that was another unforgettable highlight! Kids were brought up from the crowd to join the band. A Swedish flag was grabbed from a fan to wave onstage. Everyone was smiling and singing and dancing. The Playhouse was alive with high spirits. A night of undeniable joy. " Ridgefield Playhouse, Ridgefield, CT , USA February 2, 2018

ARRIVAL don’t miss a beat in tribute to ABBA – ARRIVAL from Sweden in concert with Omaha Symphony Orchestra, USA

"Hit after hit after hit. At the Holland Center on Saturday night the Omaha Symphony and ARRIVAL from Sweden played a vast assortment of hits and fan favorites by the iconic pop group ABBA. Conducted by principal pops and resident conductor Ernest Richardson, the Omaha Symphony was at its best ARRIVAL, named for ABBA’s 1976 album of the same name, has steadily been one of the top selling and touring ABBA tribute acts since it was founded in 1995. The performers on stage appear to be near perfect copies of Anni-Frid Lyngstad, Björn Ulvaeus, Benny Andersson and Agnetha Fältskog. These performers obviously adore ABBA and do everything they can during the show to make the focus Benny and Björn’s songs, not themselves. While all of the band members and singers were stunning likenesses of the original group, the Benny Andersson tribute performer deserves particular praise for his prowess on the keyboard. ABBA’s keyboard lines are full of virtuosity and energy, and his re-creation was fantastic. The singing was virtually indistinguishable from studio recordings. Harmonies were tight and the blend with the orchestra harked back to staples of the disco era. Of course, the best parts of the show were the titles they sang: “The Winner Takes it All,” “Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!,” “Lay All Your Love on Me,” “Mamma Mia,” a finale of “Thank You For the Music” and so many others brought fans to their feet more than once. It was obvious during the encore, “Dancing Queen,” that the crowd was thoroughly pleased. " By Drew Neneman / World-Herald correspondent February 11, 2018

”ABBA no longer tours, but Grand Rapids Symphony comes close with ARRIVAL from Sweden and the show The ‘Music of ABBA’ for 2017 Picnic Pops opener, July 13-14

"Grand Rapids Pops' The Music of ABBA with the 11 piece band ARRIVAL from Sweden has audience dancing the night away to open D&W Fresh Market Picnic Pops season ABBA has sold nearly 500 million records since the band emerged from Sweden in the north of Europe to take the world by storm. At Thursday’s opening of the Grand Rapids Symphony’s D&W Fresh Market Picnic Pops, they probably could have sold a few hundred more. Remarkably, ABBA wasn’t on stage. Arrival from Sweden was along with Grand Rapids Pops led by Principal Pops Conductor Bob Bernhardt. That was close enough, right down to the authentic stage costumes worn by lead singers Madde Johanson and Vicky Zetterberg At least 21 full-length songs plus a few more tucked in medleys entertained the audience full of dancing queens to open the 23rd Picnic Pops Season. Arrival from Sweden also has appeared with 60 different orchestras, and lead singer Norback referred to Grand Rapids Symphony as fantastic. Money, Money, Monday, were arranged with plenty for the Grand Rapids Symphony to play, recreating the song as it originally was heard. Arrival most definitely performed the songs people came to hear including Fernando in both its original Swedish version and its better-known English version. Knowing Me, Knowing You and S.O.S. were among the first to engage the audience with Mamma Mia, which spawned a musical and a movie, concluded the first half with a bang. Take A Chance On Me did the same toward the end of the second half. By the end of the evening, the floor in front of the stage was packed with dancers, plus at least one bouncing beach ball as well as a Swedish flag passed from the audience to the singers on stage. That might have been the end, but it wasn’t. A first encore of Thank You For The Music might have been enough for some, but not for the Grand Rapids Pops audience. The final, final encore, Dancing Queen, sent people dancing into the streets as only the music of ABBA can." Jeffrey Kaczmarczyk, Grand Rapids Symphony Orchestra, USA July 15, 2017
"”Not all tribute acts are alike.. Some are top-shelf -- and Arrival from Sweden, the ABBA tribute band, lives on that upper echelon!!!”" The Intell, USA 2012

“They were ABBA”

"“Arrival did not disappoint, playing all of the legendary group’s biggest hits well into the night. It was a time warp of the most entertaining kind — they looked like ABBA, they sounded like ABBA, they dressed like ABBA, for all intents and purposes, they were ABBA.”" The Sun Valley Times, July 2013

ARRIVAL from Sweden – sets Hornbill Music Fest on FIRE!!!

"Citizens of Kohima, Nagland (India), both young and old were enthralled with the power-packed live performance of  ARRIVAL From Sweden The concert was held at Hockey Ground, IG stadium on December the 2nd. Music lovers have been waiting for this day, and they couldn’t have asked for more as they were the ‘privileged lot’ to witness a live performance of a world renowned band like ARRIVAL here in their own city." "“There was not a single minute in which someone wasn’t dancing in the aisles or in the boxes – and for large stretches, the entire audience was on their feet” 4 out of 5 stars - 'Smashing'  " CY ASHLEY WEBB –  JUL 19, 2011, Starkinsider, San Francisco, USA

This! Is! ABBA!

"I just got back from the most awesome concert I have ever been to: Arrival From Sweden! Going in, I assumed it was just going to be some random people playing ABBA music. My assumption was shot down the minute the band walked onto the stage. I was blown away by the performance! By the time the concert was over, I had ceased to believe these were simply people doing ABBA music. This! Is! ABBA!" Bulbgarden review, USA, January 24, 2010

ARRIVAL from Sweden brought the audience to its feet

"Each of the individual musicians in “Arrival” make you feel as if you are listening to the actual ABBA Just about every ABBA hit song was performed at the concert The individuals in the “Arrival” band are very talented musicians. Jenny , as “Agnetha”, recreated the heyday of ABBA while singing As Good As New. Vicky as “Anni-Frid” wowed with her version of Money, Money, Money and Fernando Jenny performs as ABBA’s “Agnetha” and Vicky as ABBA’s “Anni-Frid” with original ABBA bass guitarist Mike Watson and York symphony orchestra in the background" Susan Davis, Ultimate Sheet Music, USA 2011

"Arrival From Sweden with South Arkansas Symphony Orchestra" South Arkansas Symphony Orchestra March 2015

It was hard to believe that the audience wasn’t watching the “real” ABBA.
All in all, a great night!!!

"There was SOS, Money/Money/Money, Waterloo, Mama Mia, Chiquitita, and the list goes on and on. There were so many songs that both the first set and the second set included medleys of songs, there were just o many hits. The group did a lot of audience participation in the both the first set and second set. they brought young girls up on stage to dance with them. All in all there were three costume changes and the costumes were authentic 70’s garb that ABBA would have worn which only added to the overall effect. Singing these songs, the stage decked out with a disco ball, wearing authentic garb, with the overall look and sound down, it was hard to believe that the audience wasn’t watching the “real” ABBA. All in all, a great night." Idea Magazine, Lydia Lowe, March 16, 2015, USA

The sellout show was a perfect opener for the Bermuda Festival

"Just like the real thing: Abba tribute band ‘ARRIVAL from Sweden' in action on stage at the Fairmont Southampton on Tuesday evening - the opening night of this year's Bermuda Festival of the Performing Arts. Pictured are singers Jenny (left) and Victoria , and in the background is one of the original Abba bass players Mike Watson. s Norback doing the part as “ABBA- Frida” was a joy to listen to, and she kept the dancing action going on stage. It was quite possible to suspend reality and believe that the original Abba were up on stage once again." The Royal Gazette, Bermuda, 2011

ARRIVAL from Sweden – They sound and look so much like the original

"Jamaica Jazz-and Blues Festival 2006 "Legendary Abba, performed by the Swedish band ‘Arrival – Tribute to Abba’ got the night into full swing and brought patrons to their feet. Hits such as “Eagle”,” “On And On And On,” “The Winner Takes All,” “Money Money Money,” and the crowd favorite “Dancing Queen” no doubt were crowd pleasers as the largely Jamaican audience sang along line for line. Clad in colorful costumes, the members of the band dazzled the crowd with their flawless delivery that evoked memories of the band that ruled the 70’s. So much so that many fans were over-heard saying, ”Yahneake Sterling (Hard Beat News9 Jamica”" Islander Online, Caribbean News January 30, 2007

ARRIVAL from Sweden and the show THE MUSIC OF ABBA, carries the audience right back to the party atmosphere of the 70s

"After fantastic sold out concert with Vancouver Symphony Orchestra at Orpheum Arrival from Sweden sailed to Nanaimo Port Theatre. The legendary Swedish tribute band Arrival continues right up to the present day to exert a phenomenal appeal. Brought to the stage by successful producing Showbiz Production based in Vancouver, the show carries the audience right back to the party atmosphere of the 70s. The two-hour spectacular features all ABBA’s greatest hits – “Waterloo“, “Mamma Mia“, “Take a Chance On Me”, “Money, Money, Money” and “Dancing Queen” – performed by artists who not only look astonishingly like the original line-up, but also exactly reproduce their sound. Arrival From Sweden, The Music of ABBA

"The Music of ABBA was enjoyed by another packed out audience who was thoroughly entertained with fantastic songs and showed their enthusiasm and joy of the show by dancing, singing, waiving their arms and just soaking in the professional presentation of ABBA. Many people sitting in the hangar were heard asking if this group consisted of the original band members as the musicians and singers were that good! Having sat through the sound check earlier in the evening, it was easy to see why this group is so good. They love what they do and each other. They have a passion for perfection which is easily attained by them due to their gifted talents, abilities and great personalities. Combine that with the number of sell out shows they perform on each tour, the assistance of the strong support team and the OC crew working behind the scenes, the sound check takes just a minimal amount of time! The show started off with a bang and never much slowed down. For 90 minutes those who purchased seats inside the Hangar and the thousand or so standing outside listening were not disappointed in the time investment they made. Everywhere you looked, there were smiling faces, some eyes closed while the music was being fully remembered and lots of movement. Yes, the audience was moved into the mood of the music which was quite lively. Having put in a full performance, as the band was leaving the stage, the crowd clamored for more, more, more! The entertainers came back and gave them more finishing up with the song Dancing Queen which set the audience and groupies “on fire” and unable to hold still. Wow, all I can say is if you missed this great show, you really did miss a great show" !The Hangar OC Fair, Costa Mesa, CA, USA, August 2, 2012 By Bryan Seltzer, www.ipanews.com

Arrival From Sweden – Edgerton Center For The Performing Arts, Fairfield, CT, USA

"The playing was 100% perfection. The costumes were exact. They looked and sounded like ABBA at their very best! The first set closed with high energy singalongs of Waterloo and Mamma Mia. I was taken with the level of musicianship this band had. This material was tough stuff to pull off correctly and Arrival From Sweden handled it with ease! Ivraeus was featured well on Intermezzo No 1 - he really had command of those keys! Next up was The Name Of The Game which segued into Eagle - the latter highlighted by a terrific guitar solo from Bjorns. The girls to show off their wonderful voices. Norback and Gustafsson's vocals were stunning - just flawless! These had a crowd of folks dancing up against the stage. Thank You For The Music was the first encore, then the band sent the audience dancing out of the building to the strains of Dancing Queen. An evening of total Swedish "salighet"!" Arrival turned us all into Dancing Queen

"You could have sworn you were hearing the original songs being sung by the original group. This was a sellout show featuring one catchy, hummable hit after another and the venue was packed with die-hard ABBA fans There was no interval, the group simply gave us an hour-and-a-half of non-stop ABBA hits. The white and gold clingy creation earned plenty of wolf-whistles from the crowd as they left little to the imagination. In fact one of the biggest cheers of the night came as Vicky Zetterberg aka Anna-Frid bent over in her bottom revealing hotpants. it was a real night of nostalgia where the appreciative crowd proved they could dance, they could jive, they could have the time of their lives" Bermuda Sun – January 21, 2011

Feeling the ABBA love

"The nearly two-hour show everyone in the audience – a mix of mothers and daughters who’d loved Mamma Mia (musical and/or movie), Vancouver Symphony Orchestra season ticketholders and latent homosexuals like myself – was feeling the ABBA love. Arrival from Sweden gets bonus points for the following: having one of the original session musicians, a bassist, playing with ABBA; for having ’70s disco/Logan’s Run outfits that were based on those worn by the original band; and for a set list that was a mix of ABBA standards and some not-so-familiar tracks (“I Wonder”, “Tiger”, “Summer Night City” Also, the girl doing Frida (the auburn haired one) wore a high-cut dress that drew a few catcalls when she turned around. Arrival from Sweden confirmed my love for the Swedish pop stars ABBA, for sheer volume of great songs. ABBA forever!" Shawn Conner, Vancouver Symphony Orchestra Concert, Canada January 6, 2011

Arrival from Sweden imponerar starkt!

ARRIVAL from Sweden – The Real Thing

"At times during the show, ARRIVAL look like the real ABBA in concert in 1977. It can be quite overwhelming for fans who were at the original concerts." ABBA Fan-club, Australia 2004 (Chris Patrick)

Jenny the blond had Agnetha’s voice down pat and Vicky sings with a style that Frida would be proud of. Both of girls have beautiful voices.

"Arrival at both of the concerts at Mohegan Sun and The Music Circus had the audience out of their seats clapping along with every song they did of ABBA's. Every one of the members of Arrival are so friendly and so were Finn Sjoberg and Roger Palm from the original ABBA band. I tell you all, when I left both concerts I was exhausted and my hands hurt from clapping so loud and my voice was horse" June, 2007 Abba bands.org, USA

Tent show inspires dancing queens, kings

"HYANNIS – “ABBA the Tour,” the latest incarnation of the Swedish pop sensation, created a time warp at the Cape Cod Melody Tent hursday night. A Swedish band called Arrival, which is making its first American tour, turned the clock back to the ’70s and early ’80s with ABBA’s infectious feel-good music. Few if any 17-year-old dancing queens turned out for the show. Instead, the theater was packed with middle-aged and older fans, including women who attended in groups. They all had the time of their lives, singing, clapping and dancing to the music. The show was a tribute to the original group, which was formed in Stockholm in 1970 by musicians Benny Andersson and Björn Ulvaeus and their respective girlfriends/vocalists, Anni-Frid Lyngstad and Agnetha Fältskog. They went by the acronym ABBA, the initials of their first names. Andersson and Ulvaeus wrote more than 20 danceable hits that made ABBA one of the most wildly successful groups of the decade worldwide. The group disbanded in 1982, but its music lives on. The songs of ABBA are enjoying a resurgence because of their inclusion in recent movies and the Broadway smash musical “Mamma Mia!” This 2007 version wowed the audience with a high-octane show filled with ABBA songs, dance routines and authentic-looking costumes. Dressed all in white, band members bounded onstage to the sound of a whirling helicopter and launched into a solid set of ABBA’s early hits, including the melodic “Fernando” and “Knowing Me, Knowing You,” the bouncy “Money Money,” “Mamma Mia” and the 1974 career-launching single “Waterloo.” The group re-created the sound, look and feel of the original stars, particularly the two fetching lead singers, who appeared in skintight spandex outfits, flowing capes and platform boots. ABBA, after all, was known as much for its hot clothing as for its music, and eye candy was a big part of the act. The lead singers were flanked by three backup crooners and a five-piece band. Joining them for much of the show were two musicians who played with the original ABBA and seemed thrilled to be back onstage. The two female lead singers ably handled the vocals. Their voices blended well in a pleasing medley of “I’ve Been Waiting” and “Honey.” They also delivered strong solos. The band ably produced the pulsating, rhythmically strong ABBA sound with intense keyboard work and guitar licks. “So Long” was punctuated by a searing sax solo. Just when you thought it was plumb out of hits, the band rolled out the chart-topping “The Winner Takes It All,” “Chiquitita” and the hard-driving “Summer Night City.” The performers paid tribute to the original ABBA with “Thank You for the Music.” They saved the best for last: ABBA’s classic hit “Dancing Queen.” Audience members were on their feet."

Amiralen i Malmö Julshow 2006" Trelleborgs Allehanda 5 December 2006

The group is hard to differentiate between the originals, the girls hardly need any make-up to resemble and the voices are almost better than those of the founding members of ABBA.

"The show is staged by Sweden’s best ABBA band ARRIVAL from Sweden, featuring some of ABBA’s original band members, with fantastic voices and costumes, which revive the amazing music and energy of ABBA. And with all the best ABBA songs such as “Waterloo,” “SOS,” “Mamma Mia,” “Dancing Queen,” Money Money Money,” “Ring Ring,” “Knowing Me Knowing You,” and many more. Arrival is the only ABBA tribute band that has the exclusive right by the ABBA designer to copy the costumes. The group is hard to differentiate between the originals, the girls hardly need any make-up to resemble and the voices are almost better than those of the founding members of ABBA. ARRIVAL from Sweden. They were nothing short of brilliant. Their attention to detail in re-creating the atmosphere of the ’77 live shows was breathtaking

"ARRIVAL really showed their superiority in the cover band stakes: a brilliant rendition of the mini-musical "The Girl With The Golden Hair" - complete with narrator. Sadly no "Carousel", but no-one minded. Their message was clear - ARRIVAL were playing to us, the ABBA fans. Their love, respect and commitment of ABBA shone throughout. And what an encore "Hole In Your Soul" was. We were all going for it on the dance floor right next to the stage... and had been for most of the second half. Eye contact was the name of the game too - many times the two girls would sing down to us, with us singing and gesturing back - particularly in "Does Your Mother Know". Björn had a chance to shine here, giving us a great guitar solo as well as his only stab at singing. Strangely, he stuck to his guitar playing except for this song, and left the male vocal parts to one of the backing singers - and yes, there were three of them! My favourites for the night? "When I Kissed The Teacher", "That's Me" and "I Wonder (Departure)" ARRIVAL's concert last night had no gimmicks, no silly nicknames, no slapstick routines. It was pure, unadulterated ABBA ABBA's future is in good hands with ARRIVAL from Sweden. ABBA Fan Club Australia " Chris Patrick, Brisbane, Australia , August 2004
"Sensational. That’s the only word I can think of to describe the two ARRIVAL shows held in Sydney over the weekend. I am feeling quite lost for words and out of it today. A bit like feeling jet lagged. ARRIVAL are ABBA fans that much is obvious. The attention to detail, the respect, the song choices, the costumes everything is just so right and spot on. ARRIVAL's 1977 tour costumes were just perfect and looked so real. The mini musical? I am lost for words. The narrator, the wigs, the choreography all perfect. Even at the best of times I really can’t get into “Thank You For The Music” but Anna (Agnetha) put in such an amazing vocal performance, I really sat up and took notice a more German cabaret type of vocal. Vicky’s (Frida) emotional rendition of “I Wonder” gave me goose bumps and a weird feeling inside. You often forget what an amazing song “I Wonder” is because the studio version is so flat and devoid of emotion. And “Marionette” really rocked. One of my favourite ABBA songs. :-) Singing in Swedish was a great touch. “Ring Ring (Bara Du Slog En Signal)” never sounded better. “Fernando” took on a new dimension hearing the first verse and chorus sung in Swedish as Frida's original version had been. And an overall comment it was so refreshing to hear *real* Swedish accents. The song choices were just perfect. Enough of the hits to keep the general punters happy but enough of those magical gems that proved ABBA were not just a singles band. “That’s Me”, “When I Kissed The Teacher”, “As Good As New”, “Hole In Your Soul” and “Bang-A-Boomerang” all sounded wonderful live. "So Long" was great and Anna and Vicky really got the dance routine down pat. All of the members of ARRIVAL and their entourage were just lovely. Down to earth, friendly and genuine. It was great to meet them and chat with them like they were old friends. And they seemed to genuinely appreciate having real ABBA fans there. ARRIVAL may be back in Australia, hopefully soon again! All I can say is: Wow! ABBA-FAN CLUB, Australia" Grant Whittingham, Sydney, Australia August 2004

"Just like the real thing: Abba tribute band ‘ARRIVAL from Sweden' You believe that the original Abba were up on stage once again. The audience leaving their seats and surging towards the open space in front of the stage as itching dancing feet all around the amphitheatre could no longer be controlled. The sellout show was a perfect opener for the Bermuda Festival." Royal Gazette, Bermuda, January 2011
"Abba, re-lived “FOR Abba fans, this show band was the real McCoy. They sang, danced and looked like the original Abba in the ‘70s, show band Arrival From Sweden delivered a stellar performance that was a befitting tribute recently The two lead singers were at their best as their voices sounded just like Abba. Their voices were pitch-perfect as they hit the high notes effortlessly.”" The Star, Malaysia NO 1 Newspaper, January 1, 2011

"What a treat for ABBA’s fans to relive the ageless music of ABBA, which was performed by tribute band Arrival from Sweden to a packed house at the Arena of Stars in Genting Highlands in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 25 and 26 December 2010. As the saying goes, nothing beats the original but if you can’t get the original, the second best will do. Arrival just proved that point." ”SHOWTIME MALAYSIA” December 2010

"Arrival” from Sweden – It was impossible to remain seated with the fantastic sound of the ABBA hits “Money Money Money", “Fernando", “Chiquitita", ”Mama Mia", “Waterloo” and “Dancing Queen” being performed with authentic-style costumes and vocal and instrumental precision. Arrival invited our local “Caballeros” to join them on stage and sing together. They truly knocked our socks of!" "Arrival From Sweden - Tonight, I felt the spirit of ABBA: the ’70s glam, the joy, the silliness, and the ultra catchy melodies of Sweden’s world-famous band backed by the Syracuse Symphony Orchestra. ABBA has arrived and they brought their disco ball with them. You can’t help but love them for their earnestness and dedication to the cause of spreading the gooey goodness of ABBA’s sound and style. They are global ministers of peace in troubled times." “Beatsalad, Arts Newspaper” February 21, 2009

Även kläderna kunde ha varit hämtade direkt ur Abba the Movie." Ystads Allehand 2006

“ABBA”-succé i Flygeln Louise Dee Geer Hallen, Norrköping”

"NORRKÖPING ABBA´s musik drar fulla hus i Norrköping. Publiken bjöds annars på idel ädel evergreens från ABBA´s sagolika karriär, som exempelvis Happy New Year, Waterloo, SOS, Ring Ring, Money money, So long, Voulez Vous, Summer Night City och Mamma Mia.
